Nelles Aviation Technologies, LLC is a remote aircraft maintenance service based out of the Des Moines area and servicing aircraft across Iowa. We are currently looking for an Aviation Assistant â Paperwork Researcher to support aircraft maintenance in the field (heated hangar/office environment).
Job duties include:
⢠Reading tasks off maintenance checklist and recording discrepancies as dictated by mechanic
⢠Researching in maintenance manuals and parts ordering to support mechanic
⢠Answering phone calls and scheduling maintenance
⢠Making tool and part runs as needed
⢠Other duties as assigned
No experience in aviation is necessary. Must be 18 or older with a minimum of a high school education. Must be technologically savvy, able to navigate a technical manual and type quickly. Familiar with Microsoft Office and online searching functions. Highly organized and familiar with maintaining a schedule.
Looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Temporary role for the next 1-2 months, possible permanent position available for the right candidate. Part-time to full-time hours. Flexible day time schedule prearranged between employer and candidate. Business casual dress.
Pay starts at $16/hr. Raise included if the position becomes permanent.
