Senior Project Managers might be interested in joining this existing team to work onsite with our local client. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Des Moines, Iowa area. What you get to do every day

- Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

- Directs deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Dev Ops, and Product Owner- Offers support to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

- Assigns schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines

- Works as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, leading scrum ceremonies, and ensuring the team is working effectively

- Provides project outlines with fitting ticket workflows and boards

- Work in close collaboration with the Business Analyst, QA Manager, Product Specialist, and Product Owner/Product Manager

- Programs and administers the sprint planning and grooming meetings and routes ticket assignments

- Jointly acts with Product Owner/Product Manager to warrant that the product vision and high-level business objectives are definite and viable

- Collects data from QA leads, business analysts, and technical leads into suggestions

- Comes together with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

- Help out with classifying, identifying, and managing risk for functional improvement requests

- Directs project planning

- Submits detailed reporting to management on risk assessments, milestone completion, and project status

- Ensures that the functional requirements are tracked, achievable, and met

- Arranges the daily stand-ups, assuring they are focused, timely, and brief

- Observes and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

- Manage the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

- Cooperates and communicates with developers, technical team members, designers, and stakeholders

- Works with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap

Requirements

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant Project Management experience

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

- Experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs

- Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

- Candidates who are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies will be preferred

- Project Management (PMP) certification desired

- Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight

- The person in this position should be flexible and focused

- Strong familiarity with PMO (project management office)

- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile Scrum

- Foundational knowledge in project management

- Project Management Certification experience highly desired

- General familiarity with Standard Project Management

- Expertise in Microsoft Excel

- Well-founded grasp of Proven Project Management

- Proven knowledge of project management process improvement

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- Background in project management, operations, and supervisory leadership

- Proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
