JOB SUMMARY: Crew Leads actively work with bags on at a variety of job sites, often leading small groups of 1-3 people in the successful completion of our scope of work. Successful candidates will show competency in basic carpenter skills, ability to be trained and follow directions, and have a good attitude and attendance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads small teams of people (a crew) in work activities
- Actively works with tool bags on in performing scope of work
- Trouble shoots problems at hand and resolves issues as quickly as possible
- Responsible for pace and quality of work being done the team
- Participates in training of new employees
- Works safely and ensures that others on the team are working safely
- Knows the responsibilities of being a "competent person" based on OSHA definitions
PREFERRED SKILLS INCLUDE: proficiently use framing nail gun, worm-drive saw, sawzall, and hammer drill; install windows; build bulkheads; locate and install hold downs; layout and install stair stringers and landings.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 to $20.00

Experience:
Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
Construction: 1 year (preferred)
