Construction Crew Foreman
Position Summary: With the guidance of the Landscape Construction Coordinator, oversees and assists in the installation of the landscape design while operating within the limitations of the budget and company policies. Work with all individuals in order to assure safe and efficient installation practices and procedures. SNow removal in the winter.
Primary Duties:
On site supervision of installation crew
Know and follow correct procedures established by Perennial Gardens or industry standards including proper loading and transportation of plant material
Recognize and meet customers needs and desires as situations arise on job sites
Overseeing loading and unloading of material and equipment necessary for assigned installation projects
Maintain accurate records of crew travel time, equipment usage, material usage and installation time
Installation knowledge of but not limited to plant material, retaining walls, ponds and patios
Provide a working environment emphasizing goal oriented team work
Trains employees under his/her direction
Secondary Duties:
Vehicle and equipment maintenance
Grounds upkeep
Building upkeep and maintenance
Delivery of merchandise sold
Unloading of trucks arriving with new stock as needed
Other duties as assigned
Physical Conditions of Job: This job has the potential of repeated heavy lifting, stooping, bending and reaching. Exposure to cuts and abrasions from tools and equipment is a possibility.
