Shop Mechanic (Grimes, Iowa)

We have a huge selection of new and used equipment in stock and we have caring factory trained technicians. We are looking for a hardworking and knowledgeable Mechanics to join our team!
Shop Mechanic Responsibilities:
Assisting the shop foreman with all mechanical requests
Troubleshooting and repairing all types of municipal equipment
Performing general maintenance
On the job training to learn how to diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all specialized heavy-duty equipment components we represent.
Shop Mechanic Skills:
CDL license or the ability to obtain
Hydraulics knowledge a plus
Electrical knowledge a plus
Fabrication & welding knowledge a plus
Have basic set of mechanic tools
Positive interface with location manager, coworkers, parts department and both internal and external customers
