The Housekeeper is responsible for effectively cleaning the guest rooms and public areas as efficiently as possible all while meeting Days Inn timing standards. They are also responsible for maintaining standards of cleanliness to meet company and guests expectations, and meeting guest and management needs and requests promptly and courteously. IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS. Hours can vary, but must be able to work between 9am and 5pm. SEEKING QUALIFIED CANDIDATES to enhance our Customer Service, Hotel Lounge, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Departments.
Experience:
This position requires strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally and in writing.
Physical Requirements:
Long hours sometimes required.
Medium work - 25lbs. of force frequently used to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to bend, lift, and be standing or walking during entire shift.
Mental Requirements:
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly and evaluate courses of action quickly and accurately.
Ideal candidate must work well in stressful, high pressure situations.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying any concerns or issues that may happen.
