LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
TEMP TO HIRE: $14-$15/HOUR
HOURS: 1ST SHIFT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create direct container purchase orders in the system, ensuring the correct âlead timeâ is applied and troubleshoot orders for accuracy prior to processing.
Manage open direct container orders through delivery, requires excellent written communication skills, ability to identify late orders, troubleshoot order / supplier issues, analyze load adjustment requests. Works directly with suppliers, internal customer care, purchasing, and Asia logistics team.
Update/ distribute month end Logistics Scorecard. Requires obtaining information from multiple sources, ability to analyze information/ identify errors or information that is incorrect, work cross functionally to resolve the data.
Manage export containers (low volume) to China, analyze weekly carrier tracking report to identify late shipments & communicate issues.
Carrier container/ shipment tracking & tracing
Ocean freight spot quote requests & freight file maintenance
Direct container invoicing/ processing packing list
Qualifications:
Strong Microsoft Office SkillsâOutlook, Word, Excel
Ability to multi-task
Strong analytical skills
Good verbal & written communication skills
