Full Circle Communities is looking for a part-time (20 hours per week) Janitor/Maintenance Tech for Fifteenth Street Apartments in Dubuque, Iowa.
The Janitor/Maintenance Tech main duties will revolve around working to enhance curb appeal and to maintain the building interior and exterior. Individuals who work well in a team, as well as with limited supervision, are preferred.
The Janitor provides professional and courteous grounds related maintenance to Fifteenth Street Apartment residents through timely completion of daily tasks and work order requests. We are looking for a detail-oriented person who is dedicated to maintaining the beauty, organization and cleanliness of the building environment for the residents, staff and visitors.
Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, cleaning and dumping trash, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.
Requirements include:
Heavy duty cleaning with industrial-size machinery
Working with trash chutes and waste receptacles
Maintaining grounds and common areas
Light maintenance tasks and repairs
Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
Apartment industry experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to answer calls after-hours
