One permanent part time position available, 30 hours per week
Wage: $26.46 - $39.16 per hour
Office Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Job summary:
Assists the Budget & Compliance Officer in design and evaluation of internal control policies and procedures. Conduct reviews of the effectiveness of internal controls established to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial and operational records. Monitors financial, budgetary, and operating data throughout the fiscal year.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting from a DOE recognized accreditation body and two years of public financial analysis required. Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record required. Must be 18 years of age per Iowa Code 92.8. Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred qualifications:
Three years of financial analysis preferred. Two years internal audit/public accounting experience preferred. Certified public accountant or certified internal auditor preferred.
