We have an excellent opportunity for an Audiology Assistant to work full-time at the Iowa Audiology and Hearing Aid clinics in Coralville (3-4 days/week) and Mt. Pleasant, IA (1-2 days/week). This position occupies an important place on the team and offers the prospect of working closely with the audiologists and interacting with our patients, providing audiology diagnostic & rehabilitation services and assistive technology.
Job duties include: testing equipment set up and operation, device orientation and training, infection control and safety procedures, clinical procedures, maintaining records related to patients, supplies, equipment, and clinical activities, patient scheduling and customer service. Knowledge of patient screening and interviewing technique is a plus.
Qualified candidates will be compassionate, have great communication skills, able to multi-task in a fast-paced medical practice, be motivated to learn and have a can-do attitude.
