Butter Production Team Members!
Join our Butter Production Team! Our Production Team Members are responsible for setting up and operating processing equipment for organic butter production at Farmers Creamery in Wellman, IA. Hours average 30-40 hours/week. Typical shift hours begin at 6:00am and last until production is complete for the day.
What you will do:
Operate butter production equipment.
Stamp, fill and package finished product.
Meet established processing rates.
Maintain quality standards per specifications defined by State and/or Federal regulatory agencies.
Support other team members in various butter production related tasks.
Complete paperwork for inventory and production logs.
Assist other areas in the production plant and OG organization as needed.
Additional duties as assigned.
What you will need:
Must have flexible schedule with the ability to work a scheduled shift from beginning to end of production. Early morning and evening hours are possible.
Ability to read and record instrument data with strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically legible handwriting.
Willingness and ability to lift up to 50lbs routinely and stand for the entire shift.
Dependable and able to work independently.
Team oriented with a focus of working in a collaborative environment.
High level of integrity and alignment with our mission, vision, values & operating principles.
Willingness to learn and continually embrace personal and professional development.
Experience working in a food or dairy production manufacturing helpful but not necessary.
