Washington Auto Center offers used cars and trucks for sale as well as operating a NAPA authorized auto and truck service center - working with the latest technology and equipment. We are currently looking to hire the right individuals to work in our full-service department in a heated and air conditioned shop.
Qualified candidates shall be responsible for:
Work with other service technicians and the service manager to diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including but not limited to: engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, tires, brakes, air conditioning, alignments, etc.
Perform work as outlined on repair order
Provide their own base tools and tool cabinet
Maintain a clean work space, take care of company tools and facilities
Work well with others - assisting other technicians when needed
Ensuring that customers vehicles are well taken care of and kept clean
Qualified candidates shall meet the following qualifications and attributes:
Be honest, energetic, respectful and professional
Be competent in the operation of required shop equipment including but not limited to: Automotive lifts, diagnostic equipment, filtration systems, A/C systems, alignment machine, tire machines, wheel balancers, etc.
Have a strong automotive background - from either previous work experience or recent completion of automotive tech/trade school
ASE certifications preferred
Pass a drug screen
