Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Carpenter Helper/Construction Laborer for immediate hire in Iowa City, IA.
· PAY: $19-$25/hr (based upon experience)
· HOURS: Shift will be 7am-4pm
· SCHEDULE: Work will be Monday-Friday; approximately 40 hours a week
· START DATE: ASAP
· DURATION: This is a 4 week contract position with the potential of going longer
Carpenter Helper/Construction Laborer Job Description: Will do everything from build partitions, operate skid loader, but also will be responsible for job site cleanup as well.
Qualifications for Carpenter Helper/Construction Laborer:
· Construction Experience (1+ years)
· Skid Loader Experience (preferred not required)
· Rough Carpentry Skills (1+ years)
· Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
· Must be able to perform job duties that require bending, standing, kneeling, twisting and lifting
· Must have PPE including general PPE and basic carpentry tools
Additional Requirements for Carpenter Helper/Construction Laborer:
· Must be eligible to work in the United States
· Must have reliable transportation to the job site
