POSITION TITLE: General Manager
REPORTS TO: Owner
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 2 years of management experience (must be consecutive)
Retail management experience preferred
Associates Degree
Experience with managing people
High aptitude for metrics and process oriented
Must be available to work night and weekend shifts
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

SALARY: 50K + potential raises based on performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Implement the vision and expectations of the owner.
2. Completes opening and/or closing duties for the store and ensures store is reset for the next day.
3. Actively listens to staff members, builds relationships with them, and motivates them to accomplish daily goals.
4. Anticipates the needs of customers, and communicates needs to owner.
5. Understands and upholds all store policies.
6. Makes weekly schedule for all employees and ensures labor cost meets expected metrics.
7. Handles all monetary procedures in the store. Adheres to policies and procedures regarding cash on hand, deposit drops, cash shortages, and drawer counts.
8. Ensures supply and demand of product is upheld.
9. Works in conjunction with warehouse manager to operate at the highest possible level.
10. Interviews, hires, and works through transition of employees.
11. Ensures all safety standards are met for customers and employees.
12. Works in community to donate or sell items not purchased in store.
13. Ensures the store has appropriate signage, clean, accessible, and welcoming.
