Our hotel is seeking a friendly, hard-working addition to our housekeeping staff. Housekeepers begin each day at 9 am and are prepared to work a full 8 hours, however each day depends on how busy we are, with how many rooms are sold. Usually every shift is 5 to 8 hours long.
We recently switched brands from the Fairfield Inn to the Wingate by Wyndham, so you may remember us that brand. Same staff.
There is always room to grow and we encourage staff to cross train to learn more positions.
We schedule three weeks out so you'll know your schedule in advance. We get paid biweekly, every other Thursday. Benefits include PTO, holiday pay, and the associate travel discount.
Primary Responsibilities:
Cleans and services assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards.
Completes a list of rooms and public areas to clean daily.
Reports any maintenance issues immediately.
Reports any needed repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Responds to requests from guests, supervisors or management in timely, efficient manner.
Maintains linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards. Maintains security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued every day.
Reports lost and found items to front desk.
Dusts, cleans, and straightens furniture.
Vacuums all areas according to schedule or when needed.
