Irrigation tech needed to support large client base.
Job description
--Perform all irrigation activities including, but not limited to, setting components, excavating and back filling trenches, repairing breaks and malfunctions, and winterization of systems.
--Operate power equipment to perform irrigation services, including but not limited to trenchers, pipe pullers, boring units, plate compactors, line locators, drills, etc.
--Use irrigation hand tools including, but not limited to, shovels, spades, pipe cutters, rakes, etc.
--Communicate with immediate supervisor about any malfunctioning equipment and all site problems experienced.
--Analyze property needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
--Maintain a high level of quality, efficiency and customer service.
Desired Skills and Experience
--Experience required.
--Experience and knowledge of irrigation installation, service, start-up, winterization, and repair.
--Previous experience operating a trencher, pipe puller, skid steer, and backhoe preferred.
--Must have the knowledge and ability to properly identify irrigation problems and take appropriate action to make repairs.
--Backflow Certification preferred or willing to obtain.
--Self-motivated and a quick learner.
--Possess strong social, organizational and communication skills.
--Ability to communicate effectively with managers and customers.
Some training is available.
