Positions available for fall season in Iowa & surrounding states. Main responsibility is GPS soil sampling. Hourly rate $18. Job runs from mid-September through December 1st. Most weeks we work 60-90 hours depending on weather. 1 ½ pay starts after 40 hours. Must be able to work weekends. Some travel will be expected, we pay for hotel stays and overnight meals. You are responsible for your own lunch.
Agricultural background preferred. You need to be able to run Microsoft Word and Excel, and Ipad apps. Also need to be familiar with email and attaching files.
We provide all equipment including GPS, ATVs, and Ipads. You will be required to have a dependable truck to haul our ATVs, or we have single axle trailers if you have an SUV. We pay the current IRS rate for mileage.
Work is fairly strenuous, we are outside in all weather conditions, including snow towards the end of season. You need to be in good physical shape. You will be lifting boxes weighing 40lbs.
