Work Shift: C Shift (United States of America)This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Tasks:Maintenance Generalist positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. This includes repairing and maintaining the operating conditions of the machinery and equipment, troubleshooting problems that occur on a day-to-day operation of the facility. The position requires performing work involving hydraulics, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanics in general as well as some welding. This position will also set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery and complete daily documentation.Requirements: Requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Requires lifting 50+lbs. and working while standing or walking on hard floors for a period of up to 12 hours. Requires working weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed. Requires ability to communicate effectively to all team members and management to resolve mechanical failures as well as able to read manuals in order to repair equipment safely. Requires ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to be able to record information using company provided forms and procedures. Requires basic computer knowledge in order to record information as needed in company system. Requires working in hot and cold environment.Must have 6 months of continuous employment within the last 2 years in order to be considered for these positions.
