Volt is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Engineer for a local leading organization in Waterloo, IA. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will:
Develop machining processes for new and existing parts
Develop CNC machining programs using CAM software.
Support projects that introduce new CNC equipment into the factory from panning through beginning production.
Support, plan and implement CNC processes for product development.
Work with maintenance production and engineering to communicate and resolve issues.
Develop and implement processes for cost reduction, quality and perishable tooling improvements.
Manufacturing Engineer candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
Bachelor’s Degree in Ag Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, related technical degree or equivalent working experience.
Proficient with 3D CAD and CAM software.
Proficient with NC Programming.
Proficient with Lathes and Machining Centers in the areas of steel or iron machining.
Good computer and office software skills.
Open to new or entry level.

This job opening is for 1st shift, typical hours 7am – 3:30pm, with overtime possible. Pay for this position is $30+/hr depending on experience. Experience with the following is a plus:
