Safety Manager

Working closely with plant supervisors, human resources, and corporate leadership, will develop and maintain a comprehensive Safety and Environmental Compliance program. You will be responsible for reducing plant accidents, overseeing the standardization of safety practices, and managing corrective action.Perform or coordinate job hazard analyses/job safety analyses for manufacturing operations. Develop an employee training program focused on safety. Implement accident prevention and injury prevention processes and procedures. Maintain a comprehensive safety program, appropriate for a manufacturing plant, including emergency preparedness. Participate in safety audits. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations. Maintain employee injury records.
