Position Title: Kit and Assembler
Wage: $12.50/hour+ DOE
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Receive product, and stage area - assemble cartons/boxes
- Fill out departmental paperwork for proper traceability
- Weigh counts material to be put in stock
- Label containers
- Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of kit and assembly process
- Put specified amounts of material in bags, label as needed
- Assemble product together
- Deliver product to other departments as needed
- General housekeeping of department and equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months to 1-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and email.
- Valid driver’s license
- Forklift operator’s licenses
- Knowledge of bar code scanner, bolt gauge, scale/weigh counts
- Regularly stand; use hands to fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands & arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch and walk, talk or hear
- Occasionally walk, talk or hear
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-75 pounds
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust
