We are seeking a PRV Technician to help keep our customers running at PEAK UPTIME. We are seeking someone to deliver high-quality service to our customers and bring accountability to work.

This position will provide on-site, technical support for customers in the area of hardware installation and troubleshooting, software use and device diagnostics, and execution of asset management and repair or outage activities.

Duties include:

Provide customer consultation, job scoping and field resolution of hardware and technical support issues.

Responsible for support of hardware installation, upgrade, startup, and troubleshooting.

Responsible for final control device diagnostics and support.

Responsible for providing documentation of problem resolutions for both internal and customer use.

Execute field service contracts and outage services involving Stover Controls and Emerson Lifecycle Services personnel.

Support the sale of products and services.

Complete assigned tasks such that customer requirements are met or exceeded.

Travel to customer sites for a majority of the time is required as this is a field-based position.

Support the warehouse when appropriate including: shipping, receiving, valve and regulator assembly and repair, Display Program, special projects, and general maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Aptitude for mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly and calibration, especially Emerson brand devices or equivalent.

Aptitude for PRV installation, calibration and maintenance of instrumentation.

Demonstrated knowledge of process control measurement and field control device technology.

Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Cooperative approach in working with other company personnel, principals, suppliers, contractors, and customers.

Ability to organize and set priorities while demonstrating excellent customer service and relationship building skills

Ability to work with computer applications needed to support record keeping, operations, product setup, calibration, test and evaluation.

Ability to travel, including overnight.

Ability to pass required course work and certification requirements.

Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, timeliness, and be self-motivated.
