It all begins with you.About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant in the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence supporting the Remediation Analytics Team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .Primary responsibilities for this role include utilizing database knowledge and business process to perform advanced data analysis to accurately identify populations of customers that require remediation and also to calculate the refund, account adjustment or other resolution. These roles will support Home Lending, Credit Cards, Auto, Deposit/Banking, Data Operations and Personal Loans and Lines.In this role, you will:Demonstrate vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical, and inductive thinking, and coordination of highly complex activities and resolution

Evaluate and design high level regulatory remediation strategies, quality checks and data analysis.

Engage with peers, managers, quality, risk, compliance, control and audit

Perform and test highly complex data analytics for customer remediations

Provide end-to-end ownership of project including requirements development, testing, peer review, and data driven guidance/recommendations for remediation populations and execution strategies

Designing analysis projects flow and documentation that is structured for consistency, easy to understand, and to be offered to multiple levels of reviewers, partners, and regulatory agents demonstrating research and analysis completed

Investigate and ensure data integrity from multiple sources

Ensure data recommended and used is the best 'source of truth'

Applies knowledge of business, customers, and products to synthesize data to 'form a story' and align information to contrast/compare to industry perspective. Data involved typically very large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources.

Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and be able to meet high quality standards consistently

Willing to assist on high priority work outside of regular business hours or weekends as needed

Required Qualifications, US:10+ years of Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:7+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools

2 + years of text analytics experience

1+ years of 3rd party reporting tools experience

3+ years of Teradata experience

3+ years of MS SQL server experience

Experience in Financial Services working with line of business data, which could include Consumer Lending or Non-Lending data, e.g., Auto Lending, Home Lending, Credit Card, Retail Banking, Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Deposits, Wealth & Investment Management

Ability to form a story through data analysis

Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

2 + years of experience writing Business Requirements Documents (BRD's)

Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis, designs, and recommendations. Uses analysis to identify and define business requirements, while supporting the validity of the final product.

Experience documenting non-technical business requirements and translating into technical rules

Strong attention to detail, including accuracy in grammar and a sharp focus on eliminating errors

Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

Experience coordinating multiple tasks within aggressive time frames

Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions

Ability to execute tactical deliverables quickly and accurately

Ability to track and monitor project progress, identify project, and process gaps, recommend controls, and communicate progress to business leaders

Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes

Ability to develop and integrate data driven and analytical decision making for product and service operational activities

Good analytical skills including strategically analyzing data, diagnosing opportunities, and providing interventions

Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management

Ability to articulate basic project methodology concepts for managing scope, cost, and schedule

Job Expectations:Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, if needed

Ability to work additional hours as needed

Flexibility to work from home and meet the home eligibility assessment conditions, based on business need

Pay:Annual Base Salary Range for this role is approximately $141,000 to $161,000

May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards.
