Role: IT Desktop Specialist

Location: Leavenworth, KS

Contract Length: Long-term contract

Requirements:

  • This position requires candidates to maintain and/or obtain a DoD-issued secret clearance as a condition of employment
  • Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent and a computing environment certification (Office 365 or Windows desktop or A+ certification)
  • BA/BS Degree with 5+ years of experience or AA/AS with 7+ years of experience

Job Description:
  • Perform Level I/II Active Directory functions such as unlocking accounts, creating and issuing accounts, etc.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and application problems. Includes both customer telephone support as well as electronically submitted requests.
  • Responsible for phone and in-person support to users in the areas of E-mail, directories, standard Windows desktop applications, and other network services.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware and software PC and printer problems.
  • Provides polite and friendly customer service
  • Documents incident status and solutions in incident database tools.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in computer troubleshooting and support
