Job Summary: Assists in the Development, Training, Promotion and Marketing of Kansas Farm Bureau's health care member benefit programs and plans.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages and advances development of health care member benefit products offered to Kansas Farm Bureau (KFB) members.
Promotes, encourages and enhances member knowledge of health care member benefits and healthy lifestyle choices through membership meetings, Farm Bureau Financial Services agents and other opportunities.
Plans and executes events to promote health care member benefits and healthy choices.
Coordinates across our company's departments and with other entities to ensure superior customer service, claims processing and delivery of products to our members.
Markets and promotes Kansas Farm Bureau's healthcare member benefits products to members, agents and others.
Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
Supports the mission and strategic objectives of the organization through participation in other Agricultural Industry, American Farm Bureau Federation, and state or community service activities.
Trains Farm Bureau Financial Services staff and our company's staff on necessary health care benefit computer systems.
Serves as a member or staff of committees, as requested by Kansas Farm Bureau's leadership or peers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Competencies, Education and Experience:
Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
Requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must be able to maintain a current, up-to-date command of legislative and policy changes and their effects on our organization.
Must possess excellent organizational skills and demonstrate a proven ability to meet deadlines.
