Trillium Construction is now seeking Welders for long-term work!
Pay is $18-$20 an hour with per diem of $90 a day. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am (10-hour shift). Friday 4:30pm to 1:00 am/3 am (8-10 hour shift) Duration through December or longer.
Responsibilities:
Operate manual and robot weld machines
MIG welding experience and ability to pass weld test as required
Follow and complete daily build schedule
Read work orders, blueprints, production documents or other information to determine weld specifications and requirements
Use equipment and materials properly, safely and in accordance with good weld shop practices and operating techniques
Embrace culture of Lean Manufacturing and the implementation of change
Follow all OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Ability to add, subtract in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals
Able to successfully pass a supervised welding test
Ability to use clamps, hammers, grinder, sander, jigs and hoists as needed to perform the jobPrevious weld work experience is required: ex. shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, submerged arc, electroslag welding. Previous robotic weld work experience is required: experience operating and adjusting automated and semi-automated robotic welding machines.
Candidate must be able to successfully complete the AWS Testing Requirements.
At least 2 years of work-related experience, (working in a manufacturing / production work environment, or machine shop.)
Able read and interpret work instructions, blue prints, manufacturing drawings or similar information
