About the Markets team:

Underlying our online platform is a dynamic marketplace between our buyers and their suppliers. The Markets team is responsible for coordinating the innerworkings of these markets and ensuring their overall success. Within the team are two specializations, Market Operations Specialists focus on daily technical processes and settings while Market Performance Managers focus on turning insights into actions.

About the Senior Market Operations Specialist:

The Senior Market Operations Specialist ensures that all technical processes required to enable our marketplaces are running successfully. They actively monitor the status of all key steps in our daily pipeline workflows. When issues arise, they troubleshoot their source and either address directly or leverage other team members to find quick resolutions. On high priority issues they’ll often coordinate with our client’s organizations, requiring expert communication abilities. Additionally, they are relied on as technical experts in the setup and maintenance of our markets.

We are looking for an experienced operations professional who has a proven track record of managing highly complex, time-sensitive processes. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling a large book of business, independently designing your daily workflow to address the highest priorities while staying within SLA’s. You’ll also be a valuable contributor to a strong team that emphasizes education, collaboration, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Essential Duties:

  • Actively monitor daily technical processes for our highly diverse client base
  • Diagnose and resolve any issues preventing market uptime
  • Manage tickets from sales team on non-critical client support issues, staying within defined SLA’s
  • Develop deep understanding of the design and execution of market setups to support our Market Performance team
  • Assist in the assembly and disbursement of internal and external reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and work with leadership on the implementation of processes improvements
  • Proactively communicate with internal teams on the status of support tickets
  • Contribute to our documentation library and the training of new team members

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, accounting, or similar field of study with 4+ years of overall experience
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial markets, short term cash investment alternatives, and corporate treasury is preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
