Seeking detail oriented, adaptable 2nd Shift Shipper to coordinate all shipping of packages (domestic and international) through UPS, Federal Express, DHL and the USPS Key Responsibilities: - Use in-house shipping system as well as vendor provided software - Ability to follow directions, written and verbal, use computer programs for shipping and moving inventory, maintain all data and records of shipping activities, prepare shipping labels for cartons and skids, including wrapping and banding skids, regularly - LTL and TL shipments - Organize work activity with production - Drop-ship customer orders - Other Duties As Assigned Requirements/Qualifications: - Previous shipping experience preferred (UPS, Fed Ex preferred) - Must have experience operating material handling equipment such as (forklift, pallet jack, etc) - Proficient with Microsoft Products and Shipping Software - Adaptable/flexible enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction - Ability to manage priorities - Team player essential - Problem Solving - Achievement-oriented enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail - Detail-oriented would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture - High stress tolerance thrives in a high-pressure environment
