kitchen Assistant and Cleaner needed for Student Center at KU.
Our popular student center is looking for a part time Events Assistant, to help out with our many events, dinners and building maintenance.
The Events Assistant will be responsible for:
-Assisting with basic food prep such as peeling and cutting up vegetables.
-Serving and cleaning during our large special events.
-This job also includes taking down chairs/tables and clearing up once the event is over.
-Deep cleaning and organizing of kitchen and building spaces.
Approximately 10- 15 Hours needed weekly:
Monday: 3 hours before 4 pm
Thursday: 4 hours before 4pm
Fridays: 11am-2pm
Friday evenings: Between 4 pm & 9 pm.
- Ocasional additional hours needed.
Required qualifications and skills:
1.Must be able to work weekends and evenings
2.Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
3.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
4.Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours
5.Be reliable and punctual with timing.
6.Be flexible and available for extra hours periodically throughout the year.
