PT Custodian/Attendant Plymouth Congregational Church
Were looking for someone with a long term interest in joining us. We want to provide an extravagant welcome to all who come in our doors. We want someone who appreciates that and has a strong work ethic.
Hours: 7:00AM to 12:30PM every Sunday morning with occasional weeknights and weekend hours.
Approximately 25- 30 hours per month.
Christmas Eve 3PM to 10PM This is non-negotiable.
Wages: $10 per hour. Paid twice per month.
Essential Job Duties:
Sunday mornings
Interacting with church members
Making lots of coffee and cleaning up from coffee hour
Room setups including moving 70 lb. tables & climbing multiple staircases
Light cleaning and vacuuming
Cleaning Sunday School bathrooms
General pickup of the sanctuary including maintenance of items in pew racks
Troubleshooting
Other events
As above
Running sound & light board after training sessions
Additional hours weekends & weeknights:
For weddings (these are scheduled six months in advance and there are 3-5 per year)
Friday evenings for 2 hours anywhere from 4-8PM
Saturdays for up to 6 hours anywhere from 10AM to 10PM
Due to the advanced lead time, you are expected to work weddings with very few exceptions (rehearsals are negotiable).
For weeknight events (5:30PM to 9:30PM) and weekend events (can be day or evening events)
These events are usually scheduled 4 6 weeks in advance and there are 1-2 per month.
These events will be scheduled with you on an individual basis. You are
expected to work the majority of these events.
Working phone with texting and dependable transportation is required.
Background check will be performed.
We are hoping to start training on May 12th or 19th.
