Bring your hands-on skill in drug inventory control (high preference given to pharmacy inventory experience) and manage AlixaRX's drug inventory in our Lenexa dispensing pharmacy operations hub. You'll have a direct affect on the regional distribution of medications to our Long Term Care facility clients as you ensure inventory is maintained and that we have optimum levels of stock necessary to serve our customers. This is a great way toÂget your foot in the door of a fun, fast-paced dispensing environment where the committed team player can make an immediate impact and will be valued for a job well done. Working from our Lenexa, KS office as our Inventory Control Specialist, you'll hold the core responsibility for managing the inventory process from placing orders to generating reports. Prior pharmacy inventory experience, coupled with your Pharmacy Technician license is highly preferred. Throw in your CPhT on top of that and your resume is sure to soar to the top of the stack.Â

The right person for this job will have a solid background with technology, to include Excel for reporting purposes and also brings solid verbal and written communication skills. Develop and maintain an inventory database within an automated prescription-dispensing environment.

Ensures accuracy of drug database in the pharmacy dispensing and wholesaler System.

End of Month Reporting; Consumable Inventory, Automated Dispensing System, EKIT and adjustment reporting.

Maintains ROP/ROQ-CIM

Inventory Returns- monitor open MRAs; ensuring credit is given for returned product.

Propose and provide creative resolutions to product shortages. Responsible for minimal shorts/outs of products.

Provide direct customer service to the pharmacy production staff. .

Maintain optimum levels of medication inventory and consumable products used in the automated prescription dispensing environment at all times. Maintains drug activation/deactivation/linking of drugs; slotting drugs on the shelf -FW/CIM

Coordinate assigned inventory control counts for all dispensing facilities in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Analysis, research, and documentation of daily cycle count variances

Support product recalls via appropriate reporting and record maintenance. Monitor Excess and Aging inventory.

Monitor and react to product recalls.

Provide clear and concise communications to all sites associated with recalls, new product additions and any product shortages.

Maintain compliance to all applicable regulations via thorough practice of documentation and organizational skills.

Create purchase orders for all service department purchases. Places daily orders.

Receive and open incoming boxes, make appropriate entries and move to dispensing areas for stocking. Automated

Dispensing Unit Canister Inventory Management- Order new canister builds, monitor on hand stock and manage physical inventory.

Executes procurement of all facility supplies- pack/ship supplies, production supplies.

Quarterly Inventory Coordination and accuracy.

Creates reports of key metrics for review (i.e. cycle count stats, fill rate, optimization %, etc.).

Receiving and stocking of daily receipts against invoices

Packing/Shipping Duties- Inventory Transfer, Returns and Damaged/Expired

Execute daily cycle counts during slowest dispensing time

Assist in researching cycle count variances- recounts

Various efficiency projects- research, testing and piloting

Cross trained personnel for emergency backup of inventory position

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent; (Bachelors degree, preferred)

Certified/Registered Pharmacy Technician (as state requires)

Minimum 3 - 5 years Inventory Management Experience; pharmacy inventory experience, preferred

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, sometimes on short notice

Valid drivers license with good driving record and valid insurance

Must be capable to periodically work weekends

Must be capable to work overtime with short or no notice

Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
