The Livestock Farmhand will help with the day-to-day farming operational activities of our sheep farm. This position will work directly with the Farm Manager to ensure that our flocks are managed according to our high animal welfare and ecological standards.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Daily inspection and chores of the flocks, livestock guard dogs, and pastures.
Wellness care for the flock as needed.
Meets employee safety standards as required by company policy and federal and state laws.
Record keeping of farming activity.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
Experience in farming preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods in a fast-paced working environment, often walking.
Ability to work in all climates.
Mental flexibility and patience for working with livestock.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
