DescriptionHumana's Associate Technology Experience team delivers enterprise technology products and services that amplify the power of human connection across Humana's workforce by nourishing an adaptive digital ecosystem that fosters workforce engagement and digital well-being.We're looking for an executive thought-leader with deep engineering expertise to further fuel the ongoing innovation within our technology stack. The AVP, Systems Engineering is a high-profile, enterprise technology leadership position with responsibility for engineering, architecture, and operational data analytics & insights functions across the following technology domains - end-user compute, mobility, and collaboration. The AVP owns both the engineering and operations functions of these domains, within a product-centric operating model.ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include the following:Drive collaborative partnerships with enterprise leaders (CTO, segment CIOs, business executives, etc.) to lead Humana toward an enterprise digital workplace

Provide thought leadership, direction, and mentorship for a team of engineering, operations, and architecture professionals in a highly dispersed work environment

Define the future strategy and roadmap to provide a world-class experience

Define the product, technology, and architecture standards and deliver a resilient and performant desktop/laptop equipment to the 50K Humana associates

Evangelize high quality technology and software engineering processes and practices, fostering an environment that works closely with other teams and stakeholders to deliver agile, enterprise technology solutions

Leadership of the productivity suite of capabilities, collaboration ecosystem, and deployment of persona-based compute solutions for 85K end users, to optimally enable hybrid/virtual work

Define and create the next generation mobile technology environment to meet expectations of newer generations of associates

Partner with the security and other compliance teams to ensure all associate interactions are secure, meet regulations, and are risk-managed

Key Candidate QualificationsBachelors in technology discipline or equivalent work experience

10+ years of leadership experience in large enterprise technology environments

5+ years of leadership experience in associate technology (end-user compute, collaboration, etc.) in large enterprises, inclusive of product and human-centered operating models

Proven ability to lead cross-functionally in the enterprise, driving alignment and execution against strategic outcomes

Additional InformationFor this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated (preferred) or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
