Lead and oversee the Software Development Team while also assisting with the development of specialized applications software.
Oversee the software development lifecycle for all internal applications (custom applications and integration points with external systems).
Ensure that the Software Development Team follows established methodology and practices and assist the group with process improvements for estimation, planning, and other aspects of the software development lifecycle. This includes mentoring new developers.
Deliver projects based on the priorities set by the CIO and the timelines as established in conjunction with the business users and IT Steering Committee.
Provide technical assistance to facilitate planning and directing the design, development, testing, installation, modification, and operation of systems.
When appropriate, participate directly in software analysis, design, spikes, and implementation.
Supervise the duties of Technical Team members.
Requirements
3+ years of technical team management experience.
5+ years of software development experience with in-depth technical knowledge of C#, .NET 5.0+, Azure Functions, ASP.NET 4.6+, Web API2, Angular, HTML, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Superior verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills.
Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
