DescriptionThe Physician Talent Acquisition Manager recruits qualified physicians for medical staff and assists in development of strategic physician recruitment plans. The Manager, Physician Talent Acquisition works within specific guidelines and procedures; applies advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems; receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines approach, resources, schedules and goals.ResponsibilitiesHumana is seeking a Physician Talent Acquisition Manager to accelerate the execution of our company’s business strategy. This recruiting team supports the hiring of medical staff in our value-based, senior-focused primary care clinics across the country. Partners in Primary Care and Family Physicians Group operate as payor-agnositc, wholly owned subsidiary of Humana, Inc. The Manager will assist in the development and implementation of the talent acquisition strategy for Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) recruitment. The Manager evaluates organizational needs and is the first level of support and inspiration for physician recruiters. The Manager maintains high standards for quality, actively coaching the recruiting team on bringing quick resolution to a variety of situations, while creating a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and develop a team of physician recruiters who are responsible for full cycle physician and APP recruiting.

Collaborate and consult with business leaders and hiring managers to ensure synergies exist to hire the right talent based on business needs.

Enforce Talent Acquisition process to ensure commitments are being met in a timely manner.

Develop and maintain both internal and external relationships that serve as resources to the Talent Acquisition team.

Decision making related to technology and resources

Identifies and leads opportunities to make changes to improve recruitment strategy and processes

Conducts area recruiting meetings and maintains frequent contact with TA leadership team

Manage the performance through metrics and goals for the team to ensure that positions are filled utilizing recruitment strategies which increase efficiency, cost effectiveness and quality of hire

Supports and ensures excellence in the practice and use of recruitment systems, processes and analytics

Leads or oversees projects to further streamline or enhance the recruitment process

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related business experience

5+ years full-cycle physician recruiting experience

Experience in working with various physician recruiting resources and tools

Demonstrated ability to create and execute physician recruiting strategies

Strong project management skills

Strong communication and consultative skills

Strong decision making

Demonstrated experience leading through change

Leadership and/or motivational skills with the ability to coach, evaluate, train and provide constructive feedback to staff

Innovative, creative and assertive

Strong analytics and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

People leadership experience is strongly preferred

Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Prior experience analyzing data and metrics to implement change in departmental processes

Additional Information:

You will have 6+ direct reports, and you will report to a Talent Acquisition Associate Director. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Human Resources Officer.

This role requires 20% travel and can be work-at-home/remote or agile
