We Are Hiring:

SHORT TERM OPTION CNA: St. Joseph Place, an Ascension Living community, now offers Short Term Option Certified Nursing Assistant opportunities! As a Short Term Option CNA, you will have the unique opportunity to work for a specific period of time and receive

premium compensation
for your dedicated commitment in a short term position.

WORK ASSIGNMENT: 8, 12, or 14 week assignments, with a maximum of 28 total weeks

WORK SCHEDULE: 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and one holiday

RATE OF PAY: $30/HOUR!

What You Will Do:

You will assist with basic patient care activities.

  • Assists with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical /Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or other clinical supervisor.
  • Assists patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Assists with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly. Assures resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • BLS Provider preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
Additional Preferences:

One year of previous experience is required.
