Mowing Crew Member needed for growing lawn care business! We offer a full range of Lawn and Landscape maintenance services. We need people who can work at a fast pace, and also perform quality work. Pay is by commission, and $13.50/hr. + for Crew Members. Time and a half for overtime. 50 hours plus not uncommon during busy season. Must be able to work long hours in the heat or cold, and Saturdays when necessary due to heavy work load or rain-outs. Experience a plus! Respond to this ad, and we'll get you an application.
The Position: You will travel from property to property in the Topeka area, providing lawn care to clients (Mowing, Pruning, Weeding, Landscaping, etc., etc.).
Duties will include (but not limited to): Driving Truck with 16-20' trailer (when become crew leader). Operating Commercial mowers, string trimmers, blowers, hedge clippers, chain saws, and many other power and hand tools.
Training: Applicant will be trained by Owner or Crew Leader. Once trained, applicant must be responsible with ability to work on own and perform quality work, safely and efficiently.
Compensation: Paid by commission. 40% split between the Crew. ($13.50/hr+ for Crew Member) + up to $1,500 BONUS AT END OF SEASON.
Seasonal Nature of Work: Lawn Care is seasonal and has to be worked in around the weather. Applicant must be willing to work around the weather. This is a full-time job, with over-time during the busy season (spring and fall). Year-round employment, but part-time during the winter.
