Experience in heavy municipal utility construction experience on projects required. Ideally, this person will be a production operator with pipe laying oversight experience. I am looking to build a crew around the candidate complete with pipe layers and hoe operator.
Essential Functions:
Able to work in the Topeka area, travel after this project is dependent on your work ability and your availability to travel to the next job site.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in running construction crews
Prefer a track hoe operator foreman for this position with pipe laying experience
Previous experience running crews of 3-5 people
Must be able to read blueprints and build what is on them with minimal oversight
Verifiable Experience laying pipe to grade/setting manholes/back-filling a must
Must have reliable transportation
Must be proficient on the computer
Keeping daily reports
Project safety oversight and enforcement
Must be able to pass background check
If you bring a pipe laying crew with you, extra consideration given
