As a Federal Affairs Strategist with our health IT client you will create and drive political and legislative strategies to protect and further their market position and business interests through policy and funding advocacy and stakeholder engagement. This role will allow you to build and maintain strategic relationships with federal government and policy stakeholders, including government officials, policymakers, industry associations and recognized thought leaders, to influence federal policies and legislation favorable to the client. You will educate and provide meaningful context to internal leadership and stakeholders on unique federal government processes including oversight, funding and policy making to inform business decisions. In scope for this role will be to collaborate with internal resources including program, operations, business development, communications, and compliance efforts to drive comprehensive approach as well as drive awareness and support on a variety of federal issues by conducting research and publishing briefs, fact sheets, opinion articles and other responses representing the client's position. You will organize events and other initiatives to promote engagement and collaboration between policymakers and organizations with shared interests.
