REQUIRED:
Days Inn location in Andover, KS is looking for talent!
We are looking to immediately hire the fight fit to help take our motel to the next level.
Must be experienced in hotel/motel management environment with demonstrated experience.
Must be familiar with SYNXIX Property Management Systems
Must be confident in minor book keeping and expense report management
Must be positive, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn
PREFERRED:
Computer literate, and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
Previous motel management experience, with Wyndham training preferred.
Additional hospitality management experience is welcome.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Success Criteria includes the following:
Management duties shall be required to attend to customers, book rooms, plan cleaning schedule and scheduling for other team members.
Laundry services shall be completed on a daily basis for sheets and towels, etc.
Manager shall monitor 24-hour camera access, and call management or security when needed
Manager shall patrol the motel premises once per week in order to check for any damage to the property, this patrol will require a visit to each unoccupied room and checking each piece of hardware and appliance for functionality, cleanliness and age.
Manager shall provide all receipts of any and every expense on a monthly basis via email.
Manager shall request approval from all partners for any business purchases over $1000.
Manager must be self-motivated and produce a weekly plan to boost motel sales.
Management duties cannot be delegated, to include any family members or any relatives.
Must behave in a respectful and professional manner with all guests and management.
COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time position, 40 or more hours per week, opportunities for overtime
$9-12/hour depending on capability and experience
1-week paid vacation, after 90 days probationary period
Healthcare will not be provided as a benefit
