NORC, the oldest social science research center established to do social research in the public interest is looking for Spanish bilingual telephone interviewers.
Excellent starting wage of $14.00 ($11.00 Base Pay plus $3.00 COVID 2020 Premium Pay) per hour for regular interviewers and $14.50 ($11.50 Base Pay plus $3.00 COVID 2020 premium pay) for Spanish/English bilinguals. COVID 2020 Premium Pay will continue to be paid for a period of time in 2021. We will provide staff with a 4 week notice should any changes occur to the Premium Pay.

Interviewers have the chance to talk with all kinds of people, and to see America from different points of view. Interviewers administer carefully developed, field-tested questionnaires to respondents using a computer. For example, you may conduct phone interviews that are part of a major effort by the federal government to improve vaccination rates across the United States.
NORC is looking to hire friendly and personable individuals as Telephone Interviewers who can reach out to people around the world over the phone. NORC is actively recruiting employees to work onsite at our Telephone Center, and we are also looking for new team members that after working on-site, could eventually work from home. Take advantage of our detailed on-site training which will allow you to quickly gain knowledge of our systems, so that you can begin to work off-site. You must have good attendance, a stable internet connection and the ability to work from home without interruption. Ask for more details in your one on one interview.Job Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (certification required)
- Experience interviewing residential households or businesses by telephone preferred.
- Knowledge of a PC Windows environment required.
- Ability to follow all standard operating and project-related procedures.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time in a production work environment.
- Ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a production team environment.
