This position partners with key stakeholders providingexport/import guidance to ensure compliance with U.S. regulations whileenabling successful international business activities.In this role, you will continuouslyimprove Bell’s global trade program through automation, process streamlining,training, risk assessments, etc. The Trade Compliance Specialistmust possess an understanding of the various regulations governing global tradeand represent Bell through the preparation of import and export approvalsubmissions and in person discussions about current and planned businessventures.This position will be locatedin Wichita, KS.Position Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of management or senior level members, draft and manage export/import authorization applications

Review and approve company materials for exportability

Approve foreign travel and foreign visitors

Present global trade related training materials

Participate in peer reviews and audits

QualificationsEducation Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Position Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in Global Trade Compliance or Import/Export activities

Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent judgment and discretion

Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and other unique government contracting scenarios

EAR and ITAR classification experience

Experience researching, interpreting, and applying the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Ability to implement advanced export/import control concepts

Some experience with SAP, ENOVIA, DECCS, SNAP-R
