SUMMARY STATEMENT:
This position is part of a dynamic, creative team that creates and delivers best of class professional development for curricula developed by the Museum of Science. The position is a blend of leading teams in the delivery and development of workshops, activities, and resources for education professionals and managing significant external relationships to facilitate wider adoption of the Museum's curricular products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver, on average, 3-4 professional development workshops per month locally and nationally
Manage a defined territory to drive sales of our EiE curricula and professional development services with annual growth rate of 7-10%
Territory for sales would consist of at least MO and KS
Manage, on average, 5-10 significant external relationships per month in collaboration with Regional Sales Managers, outside of your defined territory, to facilitate implementation of Museum curricula and increase professional development sales
This position requires travel on average 40% of the time
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is full-time, 40hrs/wk, Monday-Friday
REPORTS TO:
Director, Professional Development & Operations Dotted Line Reporting to Executive Director, STEM Education
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors of Science or Arts degree
4 or more years of teaching and/or delivering professional development workshops experience
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver meaningful professional development experiences for teachers and professional sales presentations
Deep understanding of the PK-8 school environment, curricular needs, and the needs of teachers, administrators, and coaches
Experience delivering high-quality presentations
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding target revenue goals
Demonstrated attention to detail
Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral
Experience leading projects and programs
STARTING SALARY:
Exempt (Salaried).
