Job Description
We are looking for a leader that will be responsible for the overall success of our construction company's bowling green ky office. As General Manager of our Storm Restoration company your responsibilities would include hiring, training and developing all positions needed, ensuring all our customers have 5 out of 5 star experience, and leading Shepherd's Constructions bowling green office to be successful against our financial and operational goals.
Possess knowledge of xactimate highly preferred!
Knowledge of all Trades for Residential Remodeling and Commercial remodeling highly preferred.
Prior verifiable successful management experience!

A proven track record of having the ability to Build, develop, inspire, and retain a sales team of spartans in the sales industry that just completely blows our competition out of the water! Have you ever driven in an area that you knew before hand probably had really good hail damage & then to only find that some other company had already roofed most the neighbor hood? If so good then you've already gotten to know us because that company's us!
Regularly giving and receiving positive and constructive feedback and coaching your sales reps, project managers, & subcontractors to develop and be their best.
Ensure every customer has a better experience than any other previous contractor they've had & are impressed so much that they give us atleast 1 or 2 referrals. Continually find ways to coach your team to go above and beyond in exceeding customer expectations
Drive an ever improving sales force that is of higher performance than any other roofing company in bowling green, ky!
Finding ways to expand the profit of each job and be as efficient as possible in operating the Bowling green office.
Ensure we always meet our high standards as well as the standards of the manufacturer's instructions and building code.
Keeping up to date via email, text, phone call, & company crm.
Create and maintain an efficient work schedule with the subcontractors & project managers in a way that sets our production up for success for meeting production goals.
Oversee all material lists before they're sent to corporate for ordering as well as weekly(eventually monthly) inventory reports, ensuring that we are always able to meet the requests of our customers while keeping waste to a minimum.
Compensation
For the right candidate this is Negotiable
$16k- $50,000 Salary + bonus + commissions of 2-12% of the bowling greens offices entire profit. If you meet quota as the general manager you would be making in between $78,724 - $134,222. An allstar GM can easily make $200k+. Ofcourse this dramatically depends on the percent of commission you recieve. The higher salary negotiated the lower commission percentage that will be recieved as well as vice versa.

Being proficient in code as well as gaf & owens corning manufacturers instructions.
Able to balance both the big picture and the nitty-gritty in shaping and leading the strategy for your team but also driving excellent day-to-day operations at the smallest level of detail.
Flexible and creative in problem solving - you roll with the punches and have fun doing it
2+ years of construction project managing experience with almost perfect up to date knowledge of atleast laminated shingle installation & flat roofing installation.
3+ years of sales experience.
1+ years of leading a team of 5+ people
Preferably 2+ years as the general manager of either a roofing company, Storm Restoration company, or of some kind of restoration company such as serve pro.
A strong understanding of how to make an estimate by calculating it with the costs plus method. Understanding the cost of a job and how to keep it as low as reasonably possible.
Comfort using computer programs
A basic understanding of how to successfully run an adjuster meeting.
