Computer Hardware Diagnostic Technician with fundamental understanding or hands on experience performing hardware break/fix. This is a long term no end date defined contract position with strong potential to convert to full time permanent. There are openings on multiple shifts which do require working on the weekend. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply- local candidates preferred.
Diagnose and repair opens, shorts, and Boundary scan failures to component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
Troubleshoot network connectivity and capability to get the IP address from the network card, ifconfig, ipconfig
Experience or basic knowledge working using: ethtool, ncat, ipmitool, smart. (preferred)
Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
Ability to understand and utilize assembly documentation such as but not limited to the following; Schematics, BOMs, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools and procedures.
Assist Test Engineering department in an ongoing data evaluation program for improving the efficiency of the diagnosis of assemblies.
Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic departments process yield goals.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
