We are seeking 2 Quality Assurance Business Analysts/Testers who can provide functional and technical in-depth analysis and testing for a large-scale IT system. The selected candidate will work under deadlines, must be capable of handling a large workload, and must be able to work independently with only general direction.
The selected candidates must have business analysis skills including knowledge of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience in Microsoft products, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Microsoft SQL Server is preferred. Prior experience testing or working in a Salesforce application is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of Department of Community Based Services (DCBS) or Department of Medicaid Services (DMS) policies or a Medicaid or Human Services policy background is preferred, but not required.

Job Responsibilities Include:
The Quality Assurance BA/Tester will be a member of a team who will be responsible for:

• Writing test plans and testing critical eligibility applications
• Working with OATS Business Analysts as well as System Vendor staff to review and select test cases compiled by the system vendor
• Compiling knowledge of Medicaid, Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP), Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP) policies and applying this knowledge to complete thorough system testing
• Documenting defects and collaborating with a team to ensure fixes have been applied correctly
• Completing smoke testing and providing support after major production releases

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in a Quality Assurance (testing) or Business Analyst position.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodology.

Preferred Skills:

• Salesforce: 1+ years experience
• SQL: 1+ years experience
• Bachelor's Degree

Schedule: Ability to set up a flexible schedule; 40 hours a week; during days Monday-Friday
