  • The Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for pulmonary care as directed by the patients’ Primary Consulting Physician, appropriate to the ages and needs of the patient population served. He/she is accountable for the assignment, intervention, monitoring, and treating patients with pulmonary complications. He/she will assure that the equipment; supplies and services provided are appropriate to the age of the patient from neonate through geriatric. The Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner is accountable for the assessment, intervention, monitoring and treating of patients with pulmonary complications.

  • Under the supervision and/or direction of the Staff Nurse or Charge Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the delivery of nursing care consistent with the treatment plan. Additionally, he/she is responsible for concise documentation for an assigned group of patients.

  • The responsibilities of the Clinical Systems Analystinclude but are not limited to, to oversee and manage all EMR and Clinical systems, products, and applications ensuring that their designs, content, and definitions integrate to support our providers, nurses, and clinicians to achieve the defined clinical workflow, process and performance goals (safety, quality, compliance, productivity, and financial), and outcome expectations and objective of our organization. The Clinical Systems Analyst facilitates the integration and use of new technologies and devices within the EMR. In addition, the Clinical Systems Analyst plans, communicates, leads and coordinates the implementation and use of new content, designs, upgrades, functions, features, products, etc. with all affected areas and users in advance of production deployment. The Clinical Systems Analyst manages customer expectations to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives and also assists in supporting the hospital clinical system and provide help desk support and participating in on call rotation and other duties as assigned by the Director of Information Systems.

  • The Unit Secretary provides administrative support for scheduling, admitting, medical records, discharge planning, and secretarial functions for the department as well as limited patient related activities for the following patient populations: Adolescent (12 – 18 years), Adult (18 – 65 years) and Geriatric (65 and over), and occasionally, Neonate/Infant (birth – 1 year), and Pediatric (1-12 years). Functions in a multi-skilled environment that requires application of customer service clerical skills with some patient related activities.

  • Prompt, accurate performance and reporting of selected clinical laboratory tests for patients aged neonatal/infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric (65 years or greater). Performs selected testing according to policies and procedures and uses independent judgment. Performs other lab related duties as assigned.
