oversight of the integration strategies with acquisitions and transition

services for divestitures. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

Serves as an active participant in the due diligence process to evaluate

integration risks/opportunities for targeted companies.

Develops pre-close

integration planning and strategies for acquired companies.

Facilitates/leads

high level integration meetings with acquired company senior management and

facilitate development of integration strategies for acquisitions.

Interacts

with Corporate Development, Legal, and target company senior leadership in

developing integration plans and identifying issues/concerns to ensure

alignment of objectives.

Develops structure/process to manage various

integration activities. Interacts with Corporate Development and legal counsel

on acquisition and divestiture activities.

Qualifications Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 8-10 years of healthcare industry experience including a strong understanding of the company structure and processes and experience with projects that cross functional organization lines and entail interdepartmental dependencies; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA, other graduate degree or PMP certification preferred. Prior acquisition, divestiture and integration experience preferred. Ability to travel required.Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America’s
