Inventory management, page updates, customer liaison, supplier relationship management, and replenishment are all areas where sellers need to be good at. Once an order has been placed, one has to make sure that it is picked, checked, packed, and shipped to the customer. Handling light accounting work is also part of this whole business of working as a seller.
To be considered eligible for the position of a seller, you donât really need any formal education. However, a high school diploma or a GED equivalent may help you with your communication work. Working at this position means that you need to be insightful about online selling and inventory management. Of course, your customer dealing skills also have to be exceptional.

Seller Duties & Responsibilities
⢠Market products on amazon, ebay, facebook sites, using well-established selling procedures and techniques.
⢠Respond to customersâ inquiries regarding products, and shipment, ensuring that the right type and amount of information is forwarded.
⢠Provide customers with information on shipment amounts, in addition to the cost of products.
⢠Go through order files to determine the quantity and type of products ordered.
⢠Look through online and physical inventory to determine the availability of products.
⢠Pick, pack, label, and ship products to the customer, and provide delivery timelines.
⢠Respond to customersâ complaints regarding service and product quality, aiming to attempt their issues.
⢠Oversee the inventory to ensure product availability, and assess stock situations.
⢠Create and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that products are delivered timely.
⢠Provide customers with detailed information regarding payment options, band process credit, and debit card payments.
⢠Handle returns and exchanges in sync with the guidelines provided by the company.
