JOB FOCUS: Assist in all aspects of administrative support for busy heavy civil contracting firm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Able to follow established practices/procedures
Maintain electronic and paper filing systems
General Admin typing productions â Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, correspondence
Process incoming mail
Marketing/prequalification productions
Bidding document management and coordination
Manage office machines and phone system
Interoffice routing
Database management and data entry
Correspondence/package shipping and receiving
JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years Administrative Assistant experience
High School diploma required
Associate degree or equivalent level of experience preferred
Background in Engineering/Construction a plus
Strong computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel
Good communication skills (written & oral)
Ability to work with multiple bosses
Strong work ethic with a positive 'can-do' attitude
Highly organized and keen attention to detail
Must be prompt and able to maintain regular attendance
Excellent typing skills
Excellent interpersonal skills; apply tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external
"customers"
Able to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality
